Matt's is an all in one stop for Comics, Games, and all sorts of other random collectibles that appeal to the geek in all of us. We have a large play area for open gaming, a schedule full of regular events, and we line our products with more awesome than will fit. We offer around 500,000 comic book back issues, 2 million Magic: The Gathering singles, binders chock full of other card game singles, hundreds of board games, a comic subscription service, hundreds of Role Playing games books and supplies, more miniatures than you can shake a lighsaber at, t-shirts, collectibles, and a full line of Funko Pops!

Comics

Matt's has around 500,000 comic book back issues from all genres, ranging from golden age to now. While a great selection is available in Corvallis at Matt's Cavalcade, the majority of our stock is in The MattCave warehouse in Albany. If you have a particular run or single issues you are looking for, we recommend you e-mail us your list at sales@ilovespidey.com and we can pull those issues for you. If you are in the market for rare, more expensive comics, Matt's offers that as well. Just make sure to ask and we will be happy to grab them for you.

Matt's also offers a giant collection of Graphic Novels and Trade Paperbacks. If we don't have it on the shelves, we will happily special order it for you.

Finally, Matt's offers the newest titles, and a subscription service to make sure you don't miss an issue while saving money off of the cover price. Our subscribers to at least one monthly title start out saving at least 10% off of the cover price, and their discount goes up based on how long they have been a subscriber and how many titles they get. Not only do they get this discount on their books, but they get it on other new books they grab off the shelves, trades, graphic novels, and games!*

Cards

Matt's offers a giant selection of card game singles and sealed product, most notably Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

We aren't exaggerating...we made someone count them all. If you have a large list of singles, we recommend e-mailing us your list at sales@ilovespidey.com. We are also always buying or trading Magic singles, including your bulk commons and uncommons.

We offer binders jam packed with older Pokemon rares alphabetized, binders for each of the newest sets put out in the last few years, and a binder featuring the more expensive and sought after EX's, Primes, and Mega's we lovingly refer to as... The Good Stuff.

In addition to a full compliment of Yu-Gi-Oh packs and sealed product, our Yu-Gi-Oh singles collection continues to grow. We have multiple binders full of singles and are always adding more.

While Magic, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh are our big three, we do have singles and sealed product of other collectible card games and trading cards. We regularly stock newer card games and trading cards like My Little Pony, Kaijudo, Weiss Schwarz, Vanguard, Legend of the 5 Rings, and Bella Sara. We also have older stuff that has long since stopped being made, like Star Trek, Star Wars, Pirates, Marvel, DC, and more.

Collectibles

Matt's offers tons of collectibles, accessories, and random cool stuff. From Pint Glasses and T-Shirts, to Action Figures and Funko Pops, Matt's has everything you need to find the perfect gift. Games

Matt's offers hundreds of board games, card games, and roleplaying books for all types of gamers- from the serious gamer to the casual player who didn't know there was something beyond Monopoly. Whether you are looking for something that will take you an entire day to read through the rulebook, or something you can sit down and play with your grandma, we are confident we can find a game that is just right.

Matt Ashland - Overlord Bossman

I have been reading comics since before I could read. When I went to college in 1988 I started buying collections, taking out what I needed and selling the rest. I then bought out the comic side of a comics and cards shop. I started trading with local comic shops in Corvallis and Albany, Oregon. I bought two more stores out in Oregon and then opened my own shop in 1993. I am married with two children, I coach sports, and am a volunteer fireman/EMT.
